Today, with my free ticket -that I got from visiting MoMA-, I went to
MoMA PS1 in Queens. PS1 truly devotes the space for contemporary arts only, and has been one of the largest non-profit contemporary institutiona in USA. Unfortunately, it didn't allow any photography of artworks, because it's rather exhibition space than collecting institute. Anyway, the biggest and the most popular subjects in today's art seemed to be sexual identity, sexuality, minority (even though African American, and Latin are not minority anymore in USA now) and experiments of media. Some of the works are very current, like done in 2010. It's interesting space to think about what's the definition of "Art" and how far an artist can go to experiment and express his/her idea...

So...pictures today are more of my own experiment of photography rather than artworks at PS1.
[Around PS1]
A few blocks from PS1, there is a tiny historic district, Hunter Point where Victorian middle class building types -mostly built in 1880's- remained almost untouched...
I got cold in this hot, 90 degree weather...so I had to come back home early with a take-out of hot, spicy Korean Kimchi soup...
