Tue. 06/01/2010 - Eat

Since today was Chelsea Market Day, I had breakfast and lunch all at the market. I even had afternoon tea time. ( I guess I am very enjoying my time without work).

Breakfast at 202. They serve home-made style breakfast menus made with fresh local ingredients. The restaurants had all these antique tables, none of them are the same and chairs were all mis-matched.

These chairs you see here and also at many restaurants and cafés are originally designed by Michael Tonet, a German-Austrian cabinet maker in 1830s. They are famous for being made by the innovative bent wood techniques at that time, and still often called Bent Wood Chairs. And they have been much re-produced in
numerous versions.

I wanted to eat Crepe, but they accepted only cash at the crepe stand, and I ran out of cash...so I had to opt for sandwich. Then I wanted it from Dickson's Farmland, but by the time I was about to eat, the lunch was over there. At the end, I had my sandwich at Friedmans Lunch. I ordered Marinated Pork sandwich, but it seemed like Reuben is their most popular one.
I guess I have to give up my diet for now, since I am eating everything from everywhere.
