Since I was at Metropolitan Museum all day, I had to eat my lunch also there. I wanted to go up to Roof Garden Café that had a beautiful view to Central Park, but the weather was not allowing. I was recommended to try Petrie Court Café passed through European Sculpture Court. This was the most formal café at Metropolitan with real table cloth rather than paper napkin...and I felt I was the youngest person eating there. Food was pretty good except the bacon of my dish seemed overcooked to the degree that I had hard time chewing it. I had shrimp, but chicken salad and trout (dishes from my next tables) looked great as well.

I went to all the way down to Lower East Side to meet Katie for dinner at her favorite "Barrio Chino" The place was quite popular, or looked like it, because it was so small and very crowded. The place was infusion of Latin and Chinese culture, like Taco served on Chinese dinnerware with Chinese portrait and lantern hanging. But since I was just off from Metropolitan Museum, the place looked somehow 'peudo' to me. I think I am pretty conservative for food, and again not so into mix-culture thing as long as food goes.

I didn't really expect the skirt steak came out with real "skirt steak". I guess I was not really paying attention to menu so busy catching up with Katie...
Katie's Chinese style shrimp served with taco, Spanish rice and avocado...I was not sure what this dish was about...but at least Katie said it was great.
