The Cloister Museum opened in 1938, solely devoted to European Medieval Arts. The museum was designed and built in the Medieval style, so the building itself could fabricate its collections of Middle-Age architectural fragments in it. It also has several gardens designed after Middle-Age Monarchy garden styles.
It's located inside of beautiful Fort Tryon Park, overlooking the Hudson River and GW Bridge. It's a compact museum, but I ended up spending the whole day there. Also, today, I became to finally appreciate the Tapestries and found myself being interested in gardening as well!

It was the most beautiful garden, but the battery ran out. I am going back! Soon! After Cloister and Heather Garden, I fell in love with Country Style garden.
